When “you look like a model” isn’t a compliment anymore.

Disclaimer: Nobody. Absolutely nobody. Let me repeat: nobody in the whole freaking world tells me that I look like a model. Cause I don’t. I’m not delusional.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way…

I’m totally underwhelmed by what passes for a magazine or fashion model nowadays. It’s like they aren’t even trying anymore. I’ve always seen models as a sort of aspirational, but now I see what outfits look like on them and don’t even want to buy them. If I wear that, am I going to look like that, too? Uh… no thanks.

It’s like they’re trying to scare me out of a purchase.
